We wanted to send you a quick note to thank all of you for an amazing adventure yesterday. Angie, Lindsay and I had a great time. It is rare that our workouts include family time, amazing scenery, sunshine and a breath of fresh air. This is the way workouts should be! The events and adventures that you have been organizing, along with the atmosphere in the Peak are really changing the way we look at fitness and well being. Staying healthy, mentally and physically, is a life style that includes family, fun and adventure, not just trips to a gym.

"The circuit class is a dream come true. With four children and an active life, exercise has to stay at the top of my priority list. People often ask how I find time to workout every day. The answer is that I have to work out every day in order stay at my peak and have the energy to enjoy all of life. Other activities may be put aside for the day, but not exercise and time for silence. It is the foundation of good sleep, healthy nutritional choices and a balanced sense of well-being. The circuit class is forty-five minutes, with just 45 seconds spent at each station. It is easy to focus and challenge myself within each class. When the class is done, I don't have to add weight training or cardio--I've accomplished both! I have learned how to do five or more exercises on each piece of equipment in the circuit room that I can use when not in a class. I've also learned how to use exercise toys and how to do plyometric exercises that are great to do at home. The resistance training in the circuit class has reshaped parts of my body that even consistent running, swimming and cycling never affected. Variety is the key--being outdoors, cross-training and having a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility in which to explore my fitness journey.
