American College of Sports Medicine. More importantly, he has experience with thousands of clients, ranging
from the sedentary to the elite professional athlete. Clients who have severe physical limitations or have
experienced physical trauma have transformed their lives with Marc’s guidance and inspiration. Professional
athletes have long sought his expertise for sports specific training, from golf, to Olympic cycling and downhill skiing to
world class surfing to tennis. Marc has a way of making each person feel comfortable and motivated.
Under his guidance, people reach their personal best and achieve the fitness and lifestyle goals that have always
eluded them.
A love for fitness and sports was born in Marc at a very early age when he played soccer as
a child while living in Europe for 8 years. European soccer is an exciting sport, and Marc had a gift.
He continued with soccer through high school in America and played professional soccer for two years after his graduation
from Humboldt State. He stopped playing at the pro level due to recurring knee injuries. Over
the past fifteen years, he has participated competitively in triathlons and adventure races. He became
the “Strength and Endurance” (STREND) national champion in 2003. In 2006, he
challenged himself to run rim to rim to rim across the Grand Canyon as a 40th birthday gift to himself—that’s
from one end of the Grand Canyon, to the other, and back! He completed the run in 18 hours, covering 14,000
feet in elevation and 42 miles. Being outdoors and being healthy in mind, body and spirit is an important part of Marc’s
life and something he loves to share with others. He inspires every client he works with, including retirees,
“soccer moms and dads," children in circuit classes, athletes trying out for high school and college teams
and many sports and law enforcement teams. Marc’s vast experience and expertise in the fitness industry
make him uniquely qualified to help people live their very best life.
Marc is married to the love of his life, Cara.
They like to play, hike, climb, swim, ride and run in beautiful places everywhere. They live in
Alpine, California with their four children and two dogs.
